On 02 November 2021, the Bureau of Customs (BOC), the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI), and the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) conducted a successful entrapment operation against Zosimo E. Bello (Bello) and Salvador V. Seletaria (Seletaria), a customs appraiser and examiner at the Collection District No. II-A (Port of Manila), respectively.
On October 28, 2021, the Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA, headed by District Collector Carmelita M. Talusan, conducted a virtual governance sharing with the Philippine Postal Corporation (PHLPOST) headed by Postmaster General Norman Fulgencio, via Zoom Video Conference.

As part of the port’s commitment to enhance the quality of its processes, the Bureau of Customs NAIA on October 25, 2021 officially received its International Organization for Standardization (ISO) 9001:2015 Quality Management System (QMS) Certification by the TUVSUD Philippines, after successfully passing the ISO Final Audit last September 2021.
