The Bureau of Customs-Port of Cagayan de Oro and members of Subgroup on Economic Intelligence from Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and National Intelligence Coordinating Agency (NICA) busted 18 containers of smuggled “red onions” estimated to be worth 50 million pesos during a spot-check inspection on November 8-9, 2021 in Mindanao Container Terminal Sub-Port, Tagoloan, Misamis Oriental.

The Bureau of Customs-Port of Legazpi Customs Border Protection Team (CBPT) District V, in a joint operation with Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) – Sorsogon intercepted a one wing van – truck of used clothing, commonly known as “UKAY-UKAY” at Matnog Port, Sorsogon on November 1, 2021. Based on the sales invoice found, the used clothing was transported from Mindanao, Avenue, Quezon City, and bound for Davao City.
