The Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Clark, together with the Customs Anti-Illegal Drug Task Force (CAIDTF), Enforcement & Security Service (ESS), Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service (CIIS), X-ray Inspection Project (XIP), and the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), recorded another successful drug bust of 253 grams of Kush Marijuana with an estimated value of Php 328,900.00 and arrested two (2) claimants in a controlled delivery operations in Muntinlupa City.

Aligned with its primary mandate to collect lawful revenues for the country, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) collected a total of P65.7 billion against its P54.9 billion April 2022 target collection, posting a surplus of P10.769 billion or 19.6%.

Almost four million pesos (Php3,998,400) worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride commonly known as “Shabu” were seized and two claimants were arrested during a controlled delivery operations jointly conducted by the Bureau of Customs NAIA, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA), and NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group in Las Pinas City on April 28, 2022.

To prescribe the rules and regulations in the implementation of the ATA Carnet System in the country, the Bureau of Customs issues CAO 2-2022 or the “Rules and Regulations in the Implementation of the ATA System in the Philippines”.

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) held the 1st Capacity-Building Workshop last April 7-8, 2022. As the Bureau of Customs-Port of Clark continues to strengthen its border control measures, a shipment declared to contain “Diaper Bags” from Incheon, South Korea was seized after it was discovered to have Php3.4 million worth of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, commonly known as Shabu, last 06 April 2022.

The Bureau of Customs (BOC), through its Customs Intelligence and Investigation Service-Intellectual Property Rights Division (CIIS-IPRD), seized counterfeit items, ukay-ukay, and other products that fail to comply with the Department of Trade and Industry’s safety standards on 25 April 2022. The goods were found to have an estimated value of Php 800,000,000.00.
