[SECOND BATCH] NOTICE TO ALL PROMOTEES TO FIRST AND SECOND LEVEL POSITIONS IN THE BUREAU OF CUSTOMS

CONGRATULATIONS!

We wish to inform you of the issuance of your promotional appointment dated 11 September 2017.

To receive a copy of your appointment, please coordinate with the Human Resource Management Division:

Pursuant to Rule VI of the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Memorandum Circular No. 40, s. 1998 (Revised Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Personnel Actions), you shall assume the duties and responsibilities of said position within 30 calendar days from receipt of a copy of your issued appointment.

Further, please be guided by Section 1, Rule IV of the same Memorandum Circular which provides:

“Sec.1. An appointment issued in accordance with pertinent laws and rules shall take effect immediately upon its issuance by the appointing authority, and if the appointee has assumed the duties of the position, he shall be entitled to receive his salary at once without awaiting the approval of his appointment by the Commission [Civil Service Commission]. The appointment shall remain effective until disapproved by the Commission. xxx”

In this regard, you are hereby requested to comply with the following documentary requirements and submit the same to the Human Resource and Management Division (HRMD) within five (5) work days upon receipt of your appointment:

1. Submission of original copy of the Certificate of Eligibility/Rating/License Authenticated by the Issuing Agency (i.e. CSC, Professional Regulation Commission, and Supreme Court);
2. Re-submission of original copy of Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS) (CS Form 212 Revised 2005) submitted last 12 December 2016 (Include all designations and positions held, and trainings attended as of 12 December 2016); and
3. Re-submission of a copy of the Accomplished Individual Performance and Commitment Review for the last two rating periods (January to June 2016 and July to December 2016).
Original copy of a Neuro-Pscyhiatric Examination Result for promotees to Enforcement and Intelligence Groups.

Please note that only those appointments with complete supporting documents shall be forwarded to the CSC for attestation and approval.
