PREVIOUS PASSERS RE: COMPETENCY-BASED WRITTEN EXAMINATION FOR APPLICANTS TO POSITIONS UNDER ENFORCEMENT AND INTELLIGENCE GROUPS

Pursuant to Customs Memorandum Order No. 27-2016 or the Revised Guidelines and Procedure in the Hiring and Promotion of Personnel for First and Second Level Positions, including Executive Managerial Positions, in BOC, the rating obtained by an applicant for hiring and promotion during the conduct of Competency-based Written Examination shall remain valid only for two years.

Hence, the candidates to vacant positions under the Enforcement and Intelligence Groups (September 17, 2019 Publication), who meet all the requirements below shall be qualified to proceed in the next phase of the hiring/promotion process*:

  • minimum Qualification Standards on Education, Experience, Training, and Eligibility set by the Civil Service Commission;
  • took and passed the Competency-based Written Examination administered by the BOC Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board from the period November 2017 to November 2019; and,
  • submitted the Letter of Intent to the HRMD/Administrative Units in case of Ports during the prescribed period: September 17 to 30, 2019.
