As part of its good governance, the Port of Subic conducted its training on 2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions (2019 Edition) on October 27, 2021. It was attended by thirty-eight (38) personnel from Port of Subic, and another twelve (12) personnel from other ports.

The training aimed to articulate the salient features of the ORAOHRA and discuss the various procedures in the preparation of the appointments using revised forms. It has also interpreted the revised policy uniformly.

The guest speaker was Director Nel Sherwin A. Carnetes, the current Director II of Civil Service Commission Field Office – DPWH.

The said training is part of Port of Subic’s Good Governance, and the port is the first to conduct the training Bureau-wide.
