Below is the summary or the narrative report of the Collection District III, NAIA from period April 3-7, 2017:

I. Report on Entries

A total of 33,641 entries were recorded for the Collection District III, NAIA for the week of April 3-7,2017. Highest numbers of entries goes to Export with 17,626 (52.4%) and Transshipment with 7,039 (20.9%). Completion of entries is at 99.9%.

II. Report on Auction

No shipment scheduled for Auction for the week of April 3-7, 2017.

III. Report on Alert Orders and Warrant of Seizure & Detention

Two (2) warrants were issued for the of week of April 3-7,2017. Details are as follows:

1. S.I. # 015-2017 issued under violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act (R.A. 9165) in relation to the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (R.A 10863), Sec. 1113 (L-5) on April 3, 2017 for Mr. Carmelo O. Domingo with fifteen (15) pcs of Ecstasy tablets placed inside a bottle of a blueberry preserve and Goya Hazelnut spread covered by DHL AWB No. 1247431191 on March 23, 2017. Articles were examined by Ms. Rova A. Melencio, Trade Control Examiner.

2. S.I. # 016-2017 issued under violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act (R.A. 10591) in relation to the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (R.A 10863), Sec. 119 (a) and Sec. 1113 (L-5) on April 4, 2017 for Ms. Rachel G. Madronero with two (2) pcs Black Widow revolver, 9mm placed inside a Bench Grinder Machine covered by DHL AWB No. 5112400672 & 5112400705 on March 23, 2017. Articles were examined by Mr. Mark Gregor Olivar and Ms. Lorraine Villegas, Trade Control Examiners.

IV. Report on Apprehension

The Collection District III, NAIA has apprehended 306.70 grams of dried Marijuana leaves with an estimated value of P100,000.00 last April 4, 2017 at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC). Articles were examined by Ms. Marlyn Dacquel, Customs Examiner. Claimant of the parcel was identified as Mr. Dean Travis Johnson Cruz who violated the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (R.A 10863) and the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act (R.A. 9165).
