Brief Narrative (September 4-8, 2017)
Bureau of Customs, Port of Legazpi recorded only one (1) formal filed entry for the first week of September, the 7,016.80 MT of Long Grain White Rice 25% Broken consigned to the National Food Authority via MV THANH BA filed last September 4, 2017. Three (3) recorded informal entry were also completed amounting to Php 8,768.00 from Postal Naga in Camarines Sur. There is also one (1) recorded completed export entry of 15 boxes of Gold Dore from Philippine Gold Processing & Refining Corporation in Masbate. These totaled to five (5) entries for the week of September 4-8, 2017.
The Port of Legazpi Personnel also participated in the Zumba dance organized by Civil Service Commission in celebration of their 117th Anniversary last September 1, 2017, 6:30 in the morning held at the Bicol University grounds. The activity was also partnered by the Philippine National Police V in celebration of the Crime Prevention month where they encourage everyone to take part in the “whistle blowing”, one of the activities of the PNP to help stop crimes and signed in the Statement of Support that affirm commitment of the Port to participate and volunteer in the crime prevention programs and projects.
