Brief Narrative (October 8-12, 2018)

For the period October 8-12, 2018, Bureau of Customs, Port of Legazpi, had recorded at total of eleven (11) entries, ten (10) of which are completed formal, informal and export entries assessed with a total duties and taxes of Php44,121,499.00, to wit:

Five (5) formal entries consigned to –

National Food Authority with a shipment of 4,000.00MT of Rice via MV “Dhong Phu”

Goodfound Cement Corporation with a shipment of 8,000.00MT of Coal via “BG Claudia”

Davao Multibuild Corporation with a shipment of 3,850.00MT Portland Cement via MV “Star 126”

National Food Authority with a shipment of 8,200.00MT of Rice via MV “BMC Bravo”

Sucre Enterprises with a shipment of 6,032.00MT of Yellow Corn via MV “An Thinh Phu 08”

There is also one (1) completed export entry from Legazpi Oil Company Inc. exporting 7,000.00MT of Coconut Crude Oil to Singapore.

Further, five (5) informal entries were processed at Postal Naga assessed in the amount of Php12,226.00.

 

Significant Events/Activities:

October 8, 2018: Bureau of Customs-Port of Legazpi officially turned-over the seized twenty-six (26) bales of used clothing and two (2) sacks of used shoes to the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office V. This was in compliance of the directive of the President to donate all seized/forfeited used clothing under BOC custody to DSWD. The Ukay-ukay were among those apprehended by the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG) from 2016 to 2018 and were turned-over to BOC Legazpi for proper disposition.
