Brief Narrative (June 18-22, 2018)
For the period June 18-22, 2018, Bureau of Customs, Port of Legazpi, had processed and recorded three (3) entries assessed with a total duties and taxes amounting to Php13,245,229.73, to wit:
Three (3) formal entries consigned to –
National Food Authority with a shipment of 6,300MT of Rice via MV An Thinh Phu 08
Apo Cement Corporation with a shipment of 5,800MT of Cement via VSG Pride
Goodfound Cement Corporation with a shipment of 8,000MT of Coal via BG Claudia
There is also one (1) export entry of Philippine Gold Processing and Refining Corp. (PGPRC) consisting of twenty (20) boxes of Gold Dore weighing 335.75kgs., for shipment to Switzerland.
Significant Events/Activities:
June 18, 2018: Coll. Arsenia C. Ilagan, together with Chief of Administrative Division, Ms. Minnette M. Arcilla and Property & Supply Officer, Ms. Marife A. Berdin, visited the City Mayor’s Office in Tabaco City to meet with Mayor Krisel Lagman-Luistro and discuss a possible property claim for the Bureau of Customs at the Subport therein. Also present during the meeting was Terminal Manager, Mr. Romeo B. Perez, Jr. of PPA Tabaco and Acting Terminal Supervisor, Engr. Antonio L. Balacano, Jr. of PPA Legazpi. Since Mayor Luistro conveyed a great interest for the construction of a Convention Center on the same property being requested for donation by PPA, she promised to find another available lot nearby the Sub-port of Tabaco which Legazpi Customs can use.
