HEAD OF OFFICE/ OIC- DISTRICT COLLECTOR
NARRATIVE REPORT
Week of September 15-22, 2017
Upon the invitation of Mr. Jose A. Naig, OIC-District Collector of Port of Iloilo, personnel from Super Green Lane, Assessment and Operations Coordinating Group conducted an “Orientation Seminar on Super Green Lane (SGL)” on September 22, 2017 at Port of Iloilo, Muelle Loney St., Iloilo City.
This seminar is advantageous since it was just recently that Commissioner Lapena urged big companies to apply for SGL accreditation. The commissioner said that the inspection-exempted accreditation will accelerate processing and allow Customs personnel to concentrate on firms whose papers need to be examined. (Lagrimas, N., September 20, 2017, BOC Urges big importer firms to go for ‘super green lane’, new bulletin, http://gmanetwork.com/news/money/companies/626546/boc-urges-importer-firms-to-go-for-super-green-lane/story/)
For this week, District of Iloilo has a total of 17 entries filed which are composed of exports and formal entries.
Two (2) entries are still in progress out of three (3) formal entries filed at Port of Iloilo. Seven (7) exports were filed and completed.
For the Sub-port of Pulupandan, three (3) formal entries were filed; one (1) entry is completed and two (2) entries are still in progress. One (1) out of four (4) exports filed was completed.
There are no reports for balikbayan boxes, auctions, alert orders, apprehensions, warrant of seizure and detention.
A forthcoming Seminar on Integrity, Transparency and Accountability in Public Service on Friday, September 29, 2017 which will cover the topics of Ethics, Accountability and Integrity in the Bureaucracy. #
