NARRATIVE REPORT

Mr. Michael Angelo De Castro Vargas, Collector of Customs IV, assumed as new Officer-in- Charge of Port of Iloilo on Thursday, October 12, 2017, pursuant to Customs Personnel Order (CPO) No. B-77-2017. On the same date, six (6) promoted BOC employees assumed on their respective positions by virtue of their appointments issued by Commissioner Isidro S. Lapeña on 11 September 2017.
On this week, the District of Iloilo has a total of 17 entries filed which are composed of exports, formal and informal entries.
Six (6) formal entries were filed and are still in progress at main Port of Iloilo. Three (3) exports were filed and completed.
For the Sub-port of Pulupandan, three (3) informal entries and two (2) exports were filed and completed. Three (3) formal entries were filed and are still in progress.
There are no reports for balikbayan boxes, auctions, alert orders, apprehensions and upcoming seminars for this port.
As per Iloilo Seizure Identification No. 003-2017, a Warrant of Seizure and Detention has been issued after due process versus two (2) sets of playing cards, 50 pieces 100 denomination casino chips, 50 pieces denomination casino chips, 50 pieces 10 denomination casino chips and 50 pieces 5 denomination casino chips detected inside the luggage of Mr. Li Chuang, one of the passengers of Cebu Pacific Air Flight 5J 669 from Beijing China, which arrived at Kalibo International Airport (KIA) at 11:20 A.M of September 15, 2017. #
