NARRATIVE REPORT
Week of May 19-25, 2017
For the week of May 19-25, 2017, there were two (2) formal entries completed out of five (5) formal entries filed in Port of Iloilo and the remaining three (3) entries are in progress. Also, two (2) informal entries were filed and completed.
For the Sub-port of Pulupandan, there were four (4) formal entries filed; three (3) of those entries are in progress and one (1) was completed. A total of one (1) informal entry was filed and completed. Two (2) exports were filed and are still in progress.
To summarize, the entire District of Iloilo has a total of fourteen (14) entries filed: export, formal and informal entries.
There are no reports for balikbayan boxes, auction, alert orders, warrant of seizure and detention and apprehensions.
There will be an upcoming in-house seminar on “Values Formation” this coming Friday, June 09, 2017 to be held at the Assessment Division, Iloilo Custom’s Building, Muelle Loney St. Iloilo. With regards to the Seminar on Customer Service, we have already coordinated with the Civil Service Commission (CSC) Region VI and they are already in the process of coordinating everything. We are still waiting for the final schedule to be declared by CSC so that we can start facilitating in our end.
The Bureau of Customs Port of Iloilo received a certificate of recognition from the Office of the Commissioner for its commendable effort for meeting its target for three (3) consecutive months with the following actual collections and surplus;
JANUARY Php 227.9M 116.2%
FEBRUARY 230.3M 126.5%
MARCH 219.1M 108.7%
Undeniably, Port of Iloilo is doing its outmost effort to meet its collection target. Kudos to the men and women of BOC, Port of Iloilo! #
