NARRATIVE REPORT
December 1-14, 2017
On Saturday, December 02, 2017, men and women of District of Iloilo and Sub-port of Pulupandan welcomed the Commissioner of the Bureau of Customs, Honarable Isidro S. Lapeña, PhD, CSEE, who paid a visit to the ports to personally inculcate an intelligible system of his goals and perspectives for the betterment of the Bureau emphasizing his “one strike policy” against corruption.
Together with him were DepComs Ricardo Quinto for Intelligence Group and Gladys Rosales for Internal Administration Group, who were both with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency before Commissioner Lapeña recruited them to join him at the BOC.
The Commissioner and DepComs were warmly welcomed by District Collector Michael Angelo Vargas together with his welcome party at Iloilo International Airport. After which, they headed to Iloilo Customs House to have a simple breakfast and open-forum then departed Iloilo to visit Sub-port of Pulupandan.
From December 1 to 14, the Collection District of Iloilo has a total of 32 entries which are composed of exports, formal and informal entries.
At the main port, a total of 13 formal entries, eight (8) informal entries and five (5) exports were filed. For the Sub-port of Pulupandan, five (5) formal entries and one (1) export were filed.
There are no reports for balikbayan boxes, auctions, alert orders, apprehensions, warrant of seizure and detention. Also, there are no upcoming seminars for this port. #
