June 9, 2017

Port of Clark has recorded 23 formal entries, 566 transhipment entries, 41 warehousing entries, 47 informal entries and 1,004 export entries which were filed and completed for this week, gathering a total of 1,681 entries.

On the other hand, there are no recorded reports on balikbayan boxes and auctioned shipments. There are also no reported apprehensions as well as Alert Order and Warrant of Seizure and Detention (WSD) issued for the week.

However, series of events were conducted and participated by the port. First is its active contribution in the Brigada Eskwela of Pulung Cacutud Elementary School, Angeles City, Pampanga. Wherein, school supplies were donated to the students and personnel helped in cleaning, repair and beautification of the school’s facilities. Cleaning materials were donated as well. While the second batch of Seminar on RA 9710: Magna Carta of Women of 2009 was facilitated by Ms. Lydia M. Baltazar, an accredited GAD Resource Pool, last June 5.

On June 6, MISTG facilitated a Stakeholders Briefing on Electronic Air Cargo Manifest. This was attended by customs personnel and some of the major stakeholders and partners of the port including representatives of Airlines in the Clark International Airport, UPS International Inc., and Value-added Service Provider Cargo Data Exchange Center (CDEC). While a Thanksgiving Mass led by Bishop Ephraim Perez was held after he took his Oath at the Malacañan Palace last June 1, 2017.
