Port of Clark has recorded 15 formal entries, 290 transhipment entries, 36 warehousing entries, 72 informal entries and 1, 001 export entries which were filed and completed this week, gathering a total of 1,414 entries.
There are no recorded reports on auctioned shipments and apprehensions. However, an Industry Awareness Program conducted by the Philippine Association of Black Iron and Galvanized Iron (BI-GI) Pipes and Tubes Manufacturers, Inc. was participated by the port’s personnel last June 20. In this seminar, Port of Clark personnel, specifically those in the frontline services, were able to learn more about Philippines industries particularly on iron pipes and tubes, proper description of such goods and determining the correct tariff heading.
