This is to inform the following consignees whose shipment with Bill of Lading Numbers and Container Numbers indicated in the attached list is presently stored at the Port of Manila and has been deemed abandoned pursuant to Section 1129 of RA 10863 otherwise known as the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA) vis-à-vis Joint Administrative Order (JAO) 20-01 for failure on the part of the consignee to file/lodge corresponding Goods Declaration, pay duties and taxes and/or claim goods.
Please be informed that you have 24 hours from the service of this notice to file a request to the District Collector to file/lodge Goods Declaration, to pay duties and taxes, or to claim goods. Otherwise, the Port of Manila shall issue a Decree of Abandonment for the subject shipment in accordance with the said JAO.
Kindly disregard this Notice if you have already filed/lodged the Goods Declaration, have paid the duties and taxes and other charges thereon and have claimed the goods within the prescribed period.
