NOTICE OF ABANDONMENT FOR BILLS OF LADING WITH NO ENTRIES FILED AT THE PORT OF DAVAO – JAO 20-01 FOR THE PERIOD OF MAY 13, 2020

Pursuant to Customs Memorandum Order (CMO) 10-2010, the Port of Davao hereby sends this Notice of Abandonment for the consignees whose shipments have been discharged as of the date indicated in the attached list but have not file the corresponding goods declaration. Failure to file the goods declaration within two (2) days from the date of discharge of the last package from the vessel, pursuant to Customs Memorandum Order 10-2020, shall be deemed implied abandonment of the imported goods.

Notice is also given that having filed the goods declaration, failure to pay the assessed duties, taxes and other charges within twenty-four hours from date of final assessment shall result to implied abandonment.

Finally, notice given that having paid the assessed duties, taxes and other charges but failed to claim goods within three (3) days for dry goods and reefer or refrigerated goods within twenty-four hours from date of payment thereof shall also be deemed as impliedly abandoned.

Please disregard this notice if you have already filed the goods declaration, paid the duties, taxes and other charges thereon, and have claimed the goods within the aforestated prescribed period.
