The Career Executive Service Board (CESB) commemorated its 49th Founding Anniversary and the 2022 Career Executive Service Lifelong Learning for Leadership Congress (CESCON) at the Philippine International Convention Center in Pasay City from November 22 to 25.
With the theme Rebound CES: Bounce Back Better, the continuous and lifelong learning program of the CESB provides an opportunity for government executives to have a hands-on and interactive learning experience in tackling crucial issues and concerns in governance and development.
Customs Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz was recognized in the traditional Parangal at Pagpupugay pride event of the CESCON. He delivered his testimonial as one of the CES eligibles who have completed the CES Leadership Management Proficiency (LAMP) Program. Commissioner Ruiz became CES Eligible in 2014.
“I am convinced that joining the CES community not only attends to our development and personal fulfillment but also creates opportunities for us in the government as we seek the best way forward to achieve a better and more sustainable future for all through good governance and service excellence,” said Commissioner Ruiz.Aligned with the eight-point socioeconomic agenda of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., Commissioner Ruiz leads the Bureau of Customs (BOC) in the pursuit of measures to improve revenue collections, enhance trade facilitation and collaboration, strengthen border control, and uphold good governance.#
