The Civil Service Commission-Contact Center ng Bayan (CSC-CCB) recognized the Bureau of Customs (BOC) as one of the Top 10 government agencies with the highest complaints resolution rate during the virtual awarding ceremony on September 27.
The BOC was awarded for resolving 517 complaints out of 542 as received by the agency, posting a resolution rate of 95.39 percent.
As one of the CCB’s key partners, BOC efficiently processed the complaints through its Customer Assistance and Response Services.
The CCB is one of the Philippine government’s main feedback mechanisms that serve as the citizen’s direct line in providing feedback on the efficiency of government service delivery.
Its establishment supports the implementation of Republic Act No. 9485 or the Anti-Red Tape Act, and the amendment, Republic Act No. 11032 or the Ease of Doing Business and Efficient Government Service Delivery Act of 2018.
The recognition was part of the celebration of the CCB’s 10th anniversary, in line with the 122nd Anniversary of the Civil Service Commission.
The BOC, under the leadership of Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz, is consistent with the directives of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr., to ensure that services are efficiently delivered to the public through further improving its customer relations while developing ease of doing business.
