BOC-NAIA intercepts illegal drugs worth PhP42.16 Million, arrests passenger

The Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), successfully intercepted illegal drugs valued at PhP42.16 million at NAIA Terminal 3, Pasay City, on October 12, 2024.

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) announced the successful exchange of the electronic Phytosanitary (e-Phyto) certificate between the Philippines and Indonesia through the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) regional platform during the 67th Meeting of the Working Group on Technical Matters for the ASW (TWG). The meeting was held via hybrid platform from June 10-13, 2024, at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), in collaboration with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), successfully intercepted a parcel containing illegal drugs valued at PhP 13,546,100 on 07 June 2024, in the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC), Pasay City.
