BOC NAIA Intercepts PhP12.9 Million Worth of Illegal Drugs

As part of the Bureau of Customs’ (BOC) strengthened anti-illegal drug campaign, the BOC-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), intercepted parcels containing kush, a high-grade marijuana, and ecstasy tablets with a total estimated street value of PhP12,996,700 on December 5, 2024, at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City.

BOC-NAIA intercepts illegal drugs worth PhP42.16 Million, arrests passenger

The Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), in close coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), successfully intercepted illegal drugs valued at PhP42.16 million at NAIA Terminal 3, Pasay City, on October 12, 2024.

ASEAN Confirms Philippines Participation in the Live Exchange of e-Phyto Certificate during the 67th Meeting of the Working Group on Technical Matters for the ASEAN Single Window (ASW)

The Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) announced the successful exchange of the electronic Phytosanitary (e-Phyto) certificate between the Philippines and Indonesia through the ASEAN Single Window (ASW) regional platform during the 67th Meeting of the Working Group on Technical Matters for the ASW (TWG). The meeting was held via hybrid platform from June 10-13, 2024, at the ASEAN Headquarters in Jakarta, Indonesia.
