Agents from the Bureau of Customs (BOC) seized tobacco products and other cigarette-making paraphernalia with an estimated value of P256.5 million from a warehouse along Tanza-Trece Martires Road in Brgy. De Ocampo, Trece Martirez, Cavite. With assistance from the National Bureau of Investigation Special Action Unit (NBI SAU), the operation led to the arrest of four Chinese nationals who will face appropriate legal charges in relation to smuggling.

BOC Logs Highest Monthly Collection in History with P76B in June 2022; Surpasses Midyear Collection Target

For the month of June 2022, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) yet again, records its highest monthly collection in history with P76.290B collection, surpassing its target of P56.287B by P20.003B or +35.5% based on the preliminary report from the BOC Financial Service. Significantly, the BOC broke its previous highest monthly collection record of P70.778-B for March 2022.
