A total of 1,112 grams of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, commonly known as “Shabu,” with an estimated street value of ₱7,561,600.00, was seized as a result of the BOC’s continued vigilance against prohibited substances.
Following President Ferdinand R. It took three (3) arduous years, ten (10) reporting cycles, and face-to-face encounters with the FATF before the country was finally delisted.
Acting in response to President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.’s for a heightened crusade against illegal narcotics to protect Filipino communities from the menace of drugs, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) through Port of Clark, working jointly with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency – Airport Interdiction Unit (PDEA-AIU), intercepted a parcel containing cocaine and ecstasy which originated from London, United Kingdom and was bound for Dumaguete City, Philippines.
