The Bureau of Customs-Ninoy Aquino International Airport (BOC-NAIA), in coordination with the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) and the NAIA Inter-Agency Drug Interdiction Task Group (NAIA-IADITG), intercepted a parcel containing Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, locally known as “shabu,” valued at PhP1.564 million on November 13, 2024, at the Central Mail Exchange Center (CMEC) in Pasay City.

BOC-Port of Clark foils Spiders in Parcel declared as Hairclips

On October 30, 2024, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Clark intercepted 178 spiderlings concealed in an air parcel declared as “Hairclips” from Indonesia. Upon physical examination, the subject air parcel was found to contain 157 vials of live spiders, while 21 held deceased specimens. The subject parcel bound to Valenzuela City, was flagged for physical examination due to a suspicious declaration by the consignee.
