P40.8-MILLION WORTH OF SHABU INTERCEPTED BY CUSTOMS NAIA FROM FILIPINA PASSENGER

As part of the Bureau of Customs’ (BOC) implementation of its mandate for border security, BOC Port of NAIA arrested this morning, at around 4:00 am, November 8, 2019, a Filipina passenger for attempting to smuggle into the country six (6) kilograms of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride also known as SHABU with an estimated street value of P40.8 million. The apprehended Filipina passenger arrived from Siem Reap, Cambodia at NAIA Terminal 3 via flight 5J258. BOC Port of Legazpi to Open New Office Building

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Legazpi will occupy a new office building early 2020 in Quezon Avenue Extension, Pier Site, Legazpi City, Albay. The new customshouse, which is adjacent to the old building, can accommodate 50 employees. It has a floor area of 700 square meters with 9 office rooms, multipurpose hall, pantry room, lobby, conference room and quarters area. The rooms are provided with enough storage spaces, proper ventilation and complete with smoke detector & fire sprinkler system.
