Customs NAIA Intercepts Php 141M Worth of Drugs

As Part of the Bureau of Customs’ (BOC) mandate to secure the country’s borders, the port of NAIA today December 18, 2019 presented 20.8 kilos of methamphetamine also known as “shabu” which was intercepted at the FEDEX warehouse in Pasay City. The illegal drugs were concealed in two parcels which were declared as speakers and shipped from the United States and estimated to have a street value amounting to Php 141,440,000 million pesos. CUSTOMS NAIA APPREHENDS CLAIMANT OF PARCEL CONTAINING P1.6 MILLION WORTH OF KUSH WEEDS

Maintaining the Bureau of Customs’ commitment to border security, the Port of NAIA on December 6, 2019 apprehended a parcel containing alleged high grade Marijuana also known as Kush weeds weighing 973 grams with an estimated street value of Php 1.6 Million originating from the USA. BOC-NAIA CONDEMNS 20 TONS OF UNSAFE FORFEITED GOODS

As part of the Bureau of Customs’ (BOC) efforts to decongest its storage facilities, BOC-NAIA today, November 21, 2019, destroys 20 tons of goods in Trece Martires, Cavite. The abandoned goods underwent condemnation proceedings and were destroyed using the Themal Decomposer (Pyrolysis) Facility of the Integrated Waste Management Inc.
