Education: Bachelor’s Degree
Experience: None required
Training: None required
Eligibility: Career Service Professional or its Equivalent

Nature of Work and Functions:

Routine checking of documents for passenger clearance and conducts boarding formalities;
Checking of completeness and correctness of required documents submitted for cargo clearance;
Conduct of preventive operations work e.g. targeting and searching of persons, vehicles, aircrafts, etc.;
Requires on-call duty assignment, including regular scheduled work on weekends, holidays and evenings.

1. All applicants must meet the minimum requirements of the vacant position(s).
2. All applicants must submit the documentary requirements, as follow:

·Individual Commitment Review Form (IPCR) for the period January-June 2016 and July-December 2016 For NAIA employees – Administrative Division, NAIA

For employees from various groups/ports – Human Resource Management Division
Non-BOC employees ·Letter of Intent (Form A-I)
·Updated and Duly Accomplished Personal Data Sheet (PDS/CS Form 212 Revised 2017) with attached Work Experience Sheet
·Authenticated Certificate of Eligibility or License issued by the Civil Service Commission, Professional Regulation Commission, or Supreme Court, as appropriate
·Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records and Diploma
·Copy of Performance Appraisal Report for the last 2 rating periods (for government personnel only). Human Resource Management Division

BOC employees who initially qualified for promotion to vacant Customs Operations Officer I positions in NAIA (for December 2016 publication) need not re-submit application for the same position.

3. The prescribed Letter of Intent (Forms A and A-I) may be downloaded from BOC website at www.customs.gov.ph.
4. Please indicate the division being applied for in the Letter of Intent.
5. The deadline of submission of documentary requirements is on 17 May 2017. All applications received beyond the deadline shall no longer be processed.
6. External recommendations shall not be included in the documents to be submitted to the BOC HRMD for evaluation.
7. Applications from the following individuals shall not be processed:
a. Government employees who are due for compulsory retirement on or before February 2018; and,
b. New applicants with relative/s within the fourth civil degree of consanguinity or affinity and who is/are currently employed in the Bureau of Customs, pursuant to Customs Administrative Order 03-2014.
