BOC Posts Record-High Collection in July 2025

August 1, 2025

The Bureau of Customs (BOC) recorded a revenue collection of PHP85.459 billion in July 2025, surpassing its PHP84.365 billion target according to the preliminary report. This marks the highest monthly collection for the Bureau this year, reflecting a 6.4% increase from the PHP80.355 billion collected in July 2024 and a significant rise from the PHP77.035 billion posted in June 2025.

From January to July 2025, the BOC collected a total of PHP544.230 billion in revenues, reinforcing its critical role in supporting the fiscal and economic agenda of President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr.

This July performance is attributed to the combined efforts of all 17 collection districts, as well as targeted revenue sources including collections from unpaid post-entry modifications, government importations under the Tax Expenditure Fund (TEF) amounting to PHP3.103 billion, and the Post-Clearance Audit Group’s (PCAG) collection of PHP136.94 million.

The BOC achieved this milestone despite a 4.5-day suspension of operations due to severe weather conditions that disrupted port activities and customs processing nationwide.

Since assuming office, Commissioner Ariel F. Nepomuceno has championed good governance through reforms anchored on transparency, accountability, and operational efficiency. Under his leadership, the BOC has fostered a culture of discipline and integrity, strengthened internal controls, and enhanced process efficiency, enabling the agency to sustain strong revenue performance even amid external challenges.

“This achievement shows the power of good governance,” said Commissioner Nepomuceno. “With integrity and focus, we will continue to deliver results that benefit the Filipino people and support the President’s vision for nation-building.”
