BOC-NAIA meets with Department of Tourism, Tourism Promotions Board, Bureau of Immigration, and ADAS exhibit organizers

In its bid to strengthen its measures to provide efficient government service to all of its stakeholders, the Bureau of Customs – Port of NAIA expressed its committed support and assistance, in preparation for the Asian Defense and Security (ADAS) Crisis and Disaster Management Conference and Exhibition, to various agencies and organizers during an inter-agency meeting, especially to the arriving participants from the 25 countries consisting of delegates from ASEAN military counterparts and ministerial-level officials.

On April 21, 2022, various agencies including the BOC-NAIA, Department of Tourism (DOT), Tourism Promotions Board (TPB), Bureau of Immigration (BI), Public Affairs Office of NAIA, met with the organizers of ADAS 2022 to discuss matters related to the conference and exhibition. The ADAS is an event series launched in 2014 to support the Modernization and Upgrading Programs of the Defense and Security Organizations of the Philippines.

Bureau of Customs – NAIA headed by District Collector Carmelita M. Talusan and team together with DOT, TPB, and BI discussed all concerns to assist exhibitors and delegations of international events such as World Travel and Toursim Council (WTTC) Summit 2022, and the Asian Defense and Security (ADAS) Crisis and Disaster Management Conference and Exhibition. BOC-NAIA will be providing swift and efficient assistance in arranging the seamless customs facilitation of all exhibition-related commodities, and customs assistance to all arriving foreign participants of the same.

The Bureau of Customs under the leadership of Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero and the Port of NAIA headed by Collector Talusan, remains committed providing government service not only to its primary and secondary stakeholders, but especially to foreign delegates and participants who will take part in momentous events here in the Philippines.
