Consistent with its commitment to protecting the national borders against unscrupulous traders, the Bureau of Customs (BOC), through the Bureau’s Action Team Against Smugglers (BATAS), together with the Port of Manila and Manila International Container Port, filed criminal cases on 12 March 2021 before the Department of Justice against two (2) importers and its customs brokers for alleged misdeclaration and violation of Customs laws.
