The Bureau of Customs recently held its first-ever Employees Consultative Assembly, which aimed to promote professionalism, development, and boost employee morale through participatory governance.

The event started with a blood donation program, medical examinations, and other wellness services, followed by a presentation of the Commissioner’s 5-Point Priority Programs. The event also recognized 73 employees for their continuous and satisfactory service of 10 years or more.

The assembly marks the beginning of more active involvement of BOC employees in the agency’s planning, development, implementation, and monitoring of programs and activities.
