November 25, 2021

Employees from the Bureau of Customs (BOC) Port of Davao and Sub-port of Dadiangas participated in a two-day seminar workshop that reinforces their current knowledge capacity on the laws and regulations on Customs Bonded Warehouse (CBW) operations on November 18-19, 2021, at the Port’s Capacity Building.

Participated by CBW Chief in Davao and Dadiangas, under-guarding officers, customs warehousemen, storekeepers and account officers, the seminar led by BOC Port of Manila’s Acting Chief, Warehousing Documentation and Records Division Engr. Ely C. Condat focused primarily on the CBW operations such as the application and renewal of CBW operators, importation of goods destined to CBW, and liquidation of warehousing entries among others.

The two-day seminar is part of the Port’s learning and development program that aims to provide timely and relevant seminars for all BOC employees and help them perform their functions at par with global practices.

BOC Davao led by District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria will continue to invest on the further training and continuing education of its personnel to better serve its stakeholders.
