The Bureau of Customs (BOC)-Port of Davao led by District Collector, Atty. Erastus Sandino B. Austria conducted a Governance Sharing with the Task Force Davao – 10th Infantry (Agila) Division Philippine Army on November 13, 2021 at St. Ana Wharf, Davao City.
During the meeting, the Port of Davao discussed the salient features and important provisions of R.A. 10863 otherwise known as the Customs Modernization and Tariff Act (CMTA), its areas of responsibilities as well as the coordination activities between the two enforcement agencies.
The said governance sharing is part of the Office of the Strategy Management (OSM) of the Port of Davao’s deliverables for the upcoming Proficiency Stage Revalida – a report that allows the organization to communicate their breakthroughs during its Performance Governance System (PGS) journey.
The BOC Davao, headed by District Collector Austria, remain committed to further improve its systems and operations, in coordination with governmental and non-governmental organizations, to offer better government service.
