The Bureau of Customs (BOC), through the Assessment and Operations Coordinating Group (AOCG), established a One-Stop-Shop for cargoes of diplomats and foreign dignitaries.
The One-Stop-Shop in all collection districts of the BOC nationwide will facilitate the expedited processing and release of cargoes consigned to diplomats and foreign dignitaries.
It will be headed by the AOCG and composed of the Chief of the Informal Entry Divisions of the collection districts.
The One-Stop-Shop was created following the meeting among the BOC, the Department of Foreign Affairs, and the Embassy of the United States of the America where Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz expressed commitment to further streamlining customs processes and procedures.
This initiative is in accordance with the directive of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr., to streamline procedures in the BOC and to remain steadfast in the fulfillment of the Bureau’s mandate of enhancing trade facilitation in the country.
