The Bureau of Customs-Port of Clark (BOC-Clark) has started distributing balikbayan boxes bound for recipients in Pampanga, Bulacan, Tarlac, Nueva, Ecija, and Aurora.
The Port will be distributing a total of 162 balikbayan boxes in line with the directives of Customs Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz to deliver the remaining abandoned balikbayan boxes to the families of Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who were victims of unscrupulous consolidators abroad.
The BOC-Clark released 69 balikbayan boxes to their rightful owners as of January 5.
Recipients may claim their balikbayan boxes from Mondays to Fridays, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., at the Bureau of Customs Port of Clark office.
The Port of Clark commits to facilitating the distribution and release of said balikbayan boxes to their respective recipients in line with the order of President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. to protect the interests and welfare of OFWs.#
