In line with its commitment to the Performance Governance System (PGS), the Bureau of Customs Port of Cagayan de Oro (BOC-CDO) Office for Strategy Management (OSM) mounted a governance sharing activity together with the Governance and Strategy Management Office (GSMO) of the 4th Infantry Division, Philippine Army on October 28, 2021.
Atty. Roswald Joseph Pague, Deputy Collector for Operations and Senior OSM of the Port of Cagayan de Oro served as a resource speaker and presented the PGS journey of the port including its best practices which included the Customer Care Center discussed by La Vern Marie Rivera, Internal Administration Management System (IAMS) discussed by Liz Pacquiao and Electronic Tracking of Containerized Cargo System (E-TRACC) tackled by Myrna Valledor.
Meanwhile, Col. Antonio Dunluan Jr., Chief of the Governance and Strategy Management Office of 4ID shared their PGS journey which started in 2010, and how they strived to continue the institutionalization which is the final stage of the governance reform program.
District Collector Atty. Elvira Cruz also thanked the 4th Infantry Division for sharing their vast knowledge in PGS and hopes to continue the best practice sharing activities with governance sharing partners like Philippine Army.
