BOC-AMO Lauded for Excellence in Efficiency and Client Relations by Industry Leaders

The Bureau of Customs’ Accounts Management Office (BOC-AMO) has received high praise from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce Philippines (FICCP), the Practicing Customs Brokers Association of the Philippines (PCBAP), and the Chamber of Customs Brokers, Inc. (CCBI) for significantly improving operational efficiency and client service.

The FICCP commended the BOC-AMO for its remarkable reforms and improved operational efficiency. They particularly highlighted the office’s client-centric approach and responsiveness and cited Atty. Christian Flores, Chief of Accounts Management, for efficiently handling renewal applications. “We take this opportunity to congratulate you on the many positive reforms that we are experiencing firsthand when it comes to huge improvements on how things are done at the bureau,” FICCP stated.

The BOC-AMO, under the supervision of Intelligence Group Deputy Commissioner Juvymax Uy, has not only enhanced productivity but also fostered a more conducive business environment. This improvement reflects the agency’s commitment in meeting the needs of the business community and ensuring that businesses can operate smoothly and effectively.

In addition to the accolades, PCBAP and the CCBI have commended the BOC-AMO for its outstanding handling of Customs Brokers’ registration and renewal procedures. Both associations lauded the office’s commitment in addressing system issues and delays. They also praised the BOC-AMO’s proactive approach in resolving accreditation application challenges, leading to faster approvals for new and renewed applications.

Special recognition was awarded to Atty. Christian Flores and Assistant Chief Bartley Earl M. Floresca for their exceptional contributions. Their dedication, professionalism, and strong work ethic were prominently highlighted in the praise from these organizations.

Under the leadership of Customs Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio, the BOC-AMO has embraced transformative reforms that have profoundly enhanced its operations. Commissioner Rubio’s unwavering commitment to transparency, accountability, and efficiency has not only modernized the bureau’s processes but has also fostered a culture of continuous improvement and exceptional service.
