BOC-Legazpi Successfully Maintains its ISO Certification

April 17, 2023

The Bureau of Customs-Port of Legazpi has successfully retained its ISO 9001:2015 certification, following a surveillance audit conducted by TUV SUD, a German auditing and certification service provider, on March 30 and 31, 2023.

Having gained the ISO 9001:2015 certification last year, the port has demonstrated its commitment to meeting customer needs and enhancing its quality management systems. The recent audit verified that the port has continued to meet the International Organization for Standardization’s criteria for quality management. The two-day audit concluded with minimal findings, and the port was recommended to maintain its ISO 9001:2015 certificate.

Commissioner Bienvenido Y. Rubio expressed his satisfaction with the results of the surveillance audit. “Maintaining our ISO 9001:2015 certification is a testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering efficient and effective services to our customers and stakeholders,” he said.

“Under the guidance of President Ferdinand R. Marcos, Jr., we will continue to improve our quality management system to meet the evolving needs and expectations of our stakeholders and the public,” he added.

BOC-Legazpi’s steadfast commitment to quality management and customer satisfaction is crucial to its mission of facilitating trade and ensuring border security. The port remains dedicated to providing world-class services to all its customers and stakeholders.#
