BRIEFER: 02-06 January 2018 AT THE POM
In summary, the Port of Manila processed 5,106 Entries – ranging from Transshipment, Warehousing, Export, Formal and Informal – generally for the period of 02-06 January 2018, among which 33 containers containing Balikbayan boxes were processed.
There were no Warrant of Seizure and Alert Order issued. There was no auction and no new schedule for auction.
Memo on 2017 Accomplishment Report
In furtherance to the 22 December 2017 Memorandum of the Honorable Commissioner on “Submission of Accomplishment Report/Inputs to the 2017 BOC Annual Report” and in order to meet the deadline fixed by the said Memorandum on 08 January 2018, POM issued a Memorandum setting an internal deadline on 05 January 2017 for offices/divisions under POM to submit their respective 2017 Accomplishment report to enable it to consolidate the said reports and submit its own Accomplishment Report on 08 January 2018.
3peat in Excess of 7billion Collection
For the 3rd month in a row, POM posted monthly collections in excess of Php7 Billion. For December, it posted a monthly collection of 7.1 Billion.
GREEN THUMB: POM’s Environmental Initiative.
As a continuing project, a few additional plant cuttings and coffee grounds, the latter as fertilizer and insecticide, were introduced at the POM gardens.
Holy Masses
Holy Masses were celebrated at the POM lobby on 03 and 05 January 2018.
