This is to inform the concerned appointees as of December 27, 2019 (see full list of here) that the Oath Taking Ceremony initially scheduled on January 13, 2020 is RESCHEDULED as follows:

WHEN: January 20, 2020 (MONDAY); call time at 6:50 a.m.

WHERE: OCOM Grounds, Gate 3, South Harbor, Port Area, Manila (during the regular Flag Raising Ceremony)

ATTIRE: Any White Business Casual Attire

All appointees shall proceed to the Human Resource Management Division, 2F OCOM Building, South Harbor, Port Area Manila on the same day at 1:30 p.m. as regards the distribution of Notices of Appointment and checklist of requirements in relation to the attestation of appointment papers by the Civil Service Commission (CSC).

Further, it may be reminded of the following relevant provisions of the CSC Memorandum Circular No. 14, s. 2018 (2017 Omnibus Rules on Appointments and Other Human Resource Actions, Revised 2018),

“If the appointee has taken his/her oath office and assumed the duties of the position, he/she shall be entitled to receive his/her salary at once without awaiting the approval/validation of his/her appointment by the Commission.

“An appointment issued by the appointing officer/authority may be cancelled if the appointee does not assume office or report to duty within thirty (30) calendar days from receipt of the written notice of the appointment.”
