In full support of the national government’s COVID-19 vaccination program, the Bureau of Customs (BOC) – Port of Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA), headed by District Collector Carmelita Talusan, processed and cleared 243,430,890 doses of COVID-19 vaccines as of September.

Aquino International Airport (NAIA) Terminal 3 Bay in September.
To date, the Port cleared eight (8) COVID-19 vaccine brands, namely AstraZeneca, Hayat-Vax, Johnson & Johnson, Moderna, Pfizer BioNTech, Sinopharm, Sinovac, and Spufnik V.
The BOC expedited the release and delivery of vaccines through advanced clearance procedures. Meanwhlle, the CoVax Special Handling Task Force, composed of members from the BOC’s security and operations unit, secured the vaccines.
The BOC – Port of NAIA, under the leadership of Commissioner Yogi Filemon Ruiz, is committed to the directives of President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr. to enhance its processes and initiatives to strengthen the vaccination drive against COVID-19, aligned with the national government’s recovery plan.
