Pursuant to Customs Memorandum Order No. 27-2016 or the Revised Guidelines and Procedure in the Hiring and Promotion of Personnel for First and Second Level Positions, including Executive Managerial Positions, in BOC, the rating obtained by an applicant for hiring and promotion during the conduct of Competency-based Written Examination shall remain valid only for two years.
Hence, the candidates to vacant positions under the Intelligence Group published in August 2020, who meet all the requirements below shall also be qualified to proceed in the next phase of the hiring/promotion process – the Competency-based Interview to be conducted by the Group/Local Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board (HRMPSBs) concerned:
minimum Qualification Standards on Education, Experience, Training, and Eligibility set by the Civil Service Commission;
took and passed the Competency-based Written Examination administered by the BOC Human Resource Merit Promotion and Selection Board from the period December 2018 to December 2020; and,
submitted the Letter of Intent to the HRMD/Administrative Units in case of Ports during the prescribed period: August 3 – 20, 2020.

The applicants concerned shall undergo Physical Fitness Test and interviews as part of the assessment of their qualifications relative to the requirements of the vacant positions. Notices for these purposes shall be issued separately.
