NARRATIVE REPORT

November 10-30, 2017

 

As a means of building leverage to this port’s potential in formatting a good and effective administration and in compliance with the memorandum of Commissioner Lapeña dated October 6, 2017, Port of Iloilo held a Seminar on ITAPS on November 28, 2017 conducted by the Office of the Ombudsman Region VI.

The said seminar was led by Atty. Pio R. Dargantes, Acting Director, Ombudsman-RO6. Topics about understanding corruption, accountability of public officers, penalizing corruption and making a difference in public service were discussed.

From November 10 to 30, the Collection District of Iloilo has a total of 59 entries which are composed of exports, formal and informal entries.

At the main port, a total of eight (8) formal entries, 25 informal entries and nine (9) exports were filed. For the Sub-port of Pulupandan, nine (9) formal entries, four (4) informal entries and four (4) exports were filed. To date all entries filed were completed.

There are no reports for balikbayan boxes, auctions, alert orders, apprehensions, warrant of seizure and detention. Also, there are no upcoming seminars for this port. #
