This system aims to eradicate corruption resulting from face to face transaction/s and minimize the delay in the processing of documents which can easily be detected by the automated system. The stakeholders will also be able to monitor the status of the goods declaration/s lodged at the Bureau of Customs and expect more efficient transactions through an integrated system between importers, brokers and Customs personnel.
Port of Legazpi shall be implementing the 1-Assessment System by January 2019.
