Brief Narrative (November 26-30, 2018)
For the period November 26-30, 2018, Bureau of Customs, Port of Legazpi, had recorded at total of nine (9) entries, seven (7) of which are completed entries that contributed to the total duties and taxes of Php47,119,442.85 for the month of November, to wit:
Four (4) formal entries consigned to –
Sucre Enterprises with a shipment of 4,600MT of Corn via MV “Dolphin”
Sucre Enterprises with a shipment of 4,612MT of Corn via MV “Giang Hai”
DMCI Masbate Power Corporation with a shipment of 885,223.31MT of Boiler Parts via MV “Spring Mota”
National Food Authority with a shipment of 7,800MT of Rice via MV “Nordana Malee”
There is also one (1) completed export entry from Philippine Gold Processing and Refining Corp. (PGPRC) consisting of fifteen (15) boxes of Gold Dore weighing 246.25kgs., for shipment to Switzerland.
Further, four (4) informal entries were processed at Sutherland Global Services Philippines Inc., a PEZA locator, assessed in the amount of Php73,793.85.
Significant Events/Activities:
November 27, 2018: Port of Legazpi attended the Regional Executives and Directors’ Association (REDIRAS) Bicol meeting. One of the agenda was to discuss the REDIRAS ComPASSION Project which aims to help the homes for abused women and abandoned children.
