Port of Subic Celebrates 28th Founding Anniversary
On June 18, 2021, the Port of Subic celebrated it’s 28th Founding Anniversary amidst the pandemic.
To open the event, the port conducted a thanksgiving mass via Zoom followed by a donation drive to the Caritas Kindness Station of St.Columban Parish. Thereafter, the quarterly Stakeholders open forum took place followed by the virtual awarding of plaques and certificates for the Top 20 Importers for the 1st quarter.
District Collector Maritess Martin thanked all the stakeholders for their unwavering support and contribution to the Port. She congratulate each and everyone who forms part of the Port of Subic for completing another year of milestones and hope to continue the journey of success with great pride and honor.
“You all deserve a round of applause and commendation for all your laborious works and unconditional dedication. We have achieved tremendous growth all together. You’re creativity and enthusiasm can only be matched with unquenchable thirst for greater success.” Coll. Martin said as she commends the team in Port of Subic.
Commissioner Rey Leonardo B. Guerrero also sent a video greeting for the Port where he reminded them to continue with the good performance and be ready to face the challenges in the future and as we overcome the present challenges brought by the COVID pandemic.
