INSTRUCTIONS TO ALL APPLICANTS

All applicants must meet the minimum requirement of vacant position(s).
Pursuant to CMO 27 – 2016, all applicants must submit the documentary requirements, as follow:

APPLICANT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS RECEIVING OFFICE
BOC employees Qualified next – in – rank who are automatically included in the selection line – up as candidates for promotion within their organizational mother unit

Updated and Duly Accomplished Personnel Data Sheet (PDS/CS Form 212 Revised 2017) with attached Work Experience Sheet
Individual Commitment Review Form (IPCR) for the period January – June 2016 and July – December 2016

Human Resource Management Division (HRMD)

Employees who are not next – in – rank who wish to apply for promotion

Letter of Intent (Form A)
Updated and Duly Accomplished Personnel Data Sheet (PDS/CS Form 212 Revised 2017) with attached Work Experience Sheet
Individual Commitment Review Form (IPCR) for the period January – June 2016 and July – December 2016

Additional requirements for BOC employees who recently passed the Bar Examination:

Authenticated copy of Certificate of Admission to the Philippine Bar issued by the Supreme Court
Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records and Diploma (Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor Degree)

NON – BOC employees

Letter of Intent (Form A -1)
Updated and Duly Accomplished Personnel Data Sheet (PDS/CS Form 212 Revised 2017) with attached Work Experience Sheet
Authenticated copy of Certificate of Admission to the Philippine Bar issued by the Supreme Court
Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records and Diploma (Bachelor of Laws or Juris Doctor Degree)
Copy of Training/Seminar Certificates
Copy of Performance Appraisal Report for the last two (2) rating periods (for government employees only)

The prescribed Letter of Intent (Form A and Form A-1) may be downloaded from BOC website at www.customs.gov.ph.
Please indicate the office/group/port being applied for in the Letter of Intent. One letter of intent should be used for each position and office applied for.
All documents must be arranged accordingly (as enumerated in FORM A and A-1) and must be enclosed in a long brown envelope with your full name (Surname, Given Name and Middle Name) written at upper – left corner at the back of the envelope as shown below.

6. Applicants who previously applied for Attorney position in 2016, MUST re-submit the required documents as indicated above.

7. The deadline of submission of documentary requirements is on/before 03 July 2017 at:

Pursuant to CMO 27 – 2016 Sec. 4 Item 4.4 and 4.5, all candidates for promotion, including qualified next-in-rank, must submit the documentary requirements within the prescribed period. Non – submission of said requirements on time shall mean waiver of their possible promotion.
External recommendations shall not be included in the documents to be submitted to the BOC HRMD for evaluation.
Applications from Government Employees who are due for compulsory retirement on/or before January 2018 shall not be processed.
Applicants who shall submit their requirements through courier and/or postal, must ensure that their requirements are complete and postmarked on/before 03 July 2017.
Kindly be advised that LATE applications, and applications with INCOMPLETE requirements will NOT be accepted and processed.
