BOC-Port of Clark partakes on Mental Health Webinar

In line with the celebration of the 121st Philippine Civil Service Anniversary, the Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark attended the Webinar on Mental Health last September 23, 2021 organized by the Council of Human Resource Practitioners – National Government Agencies/Pampanga and the Civil Service Commission Pampanga Field Office.

The webinar entitled “Mental Health: Battling Stress, Anxiety and Depression during the Pandemic” was also attended by representatives from different National Government Agencies in Pampanga. Its main objective is to promote mental health awareness and assist in the fight against stress, anxiety and depression especially in dealing with the challenges brought by the pandemic.

The Resource Speaker, Ms. Kristine Llonyl De Leon from the Department of Education – Region III, shared techniques on how to deal with stress, anxiety and depression such as muscle mantra, breathing control remedies, breathing exercises and other ways on how to take care of one’s mental health.

District Collector Alexandra Lumontad recognized the Civil Service Commission and the Council of Human Resources Practitioners for organizing a timely and sensible webinar for the civil servants. She noted that stress and depression may be experienced in the workplace and that coping up on it is vital for physical wellness and personnel efficiency.
