BOC-Clark conducts Webinar on Latest Customs Procedures

In line with the Bureau of Customs’ thrust to provide stakeholders with accurate and updated information on Customs’ policies and reforms, the Bureau of Customs – Port of Clark hosted its first ever Webinar on Latest Customs Procedures via Zoom and Facebook Live on November 20, 2020.

The said webinar was attended by more than 75 participants from Clark Investors and Locators Association (CILA), Clark Development Corporation (CDC), PEZA companies and by Air Express Cargo operators, Customs Brokers and other stakeholders. District Collector Atty. Ruby Alameda, in her opening remarks, welcomed and thanked the guests for their support in the programs and activities of the Port of Clark.

Topics discussed are Customer Care Center Operations, Export Cargo Clearance formalities, and Issuance of Certificate of Origin and Proof of Origin, Customs Clearance Procedures on Express Shipments, and updates on recent events of Bureau of Customs and Port of Clark. Thereafter, an open forum was conducted in which questions from stakeholders relative to the topics discussed were addressed.

The Port of Clark ensures that BOC stakeholders are informed of the Bureau’s effort to fulfill its mandate not only to determine its operational effectiveness but also to better serve its stakeholders.
